Even in demanding climatic and operational conditions, the patrol worker uses the KOSguard sensor to identify himself at checkpoints marked with highly durable iButton contact chips (by simply attaching the sensor to the chip, its code and reading time are read into the KOSguard sensor memory).

COLLECTION OF PATROL DATA

At set times or during on-site inspections, the manager reads the patrol data into a memory (data) chip, which is usually conveniently located on the key ring. The data chip can be compared to a flask-disk or databank and transfers information about patrols to patrol software for evaluation or archiving.

LOCAL SW WSOK FOR MANAGEMENT AND EVALUATION OF PATROLS

There are still many workplaces where it is not appropriate or possible to manage any SW remotely and local installations of all service SWs are preferred.

Here it is most suitable to use WSOK software, which works under Windows OS.

When managing KOSguard sensors, the portal provides the same functions as the WSOK SW. The difference and advantage lies with the portal in its serviceability from anywhere with an Internet connection.
